Being the only Chaos god (or important character at all) to possibly be trans and is also, well, Slaanesh and the Deamonettes reflect that. Slaanesh is at best problematic and at worst outright offensive to Trans people. Female units have to be sexy, male ones don't and that was the problem with the witches. But the "sexiness" was never the problem as much as the difference female against male units were presented. Now the Witch elves aren't too bad and it's clear GW has tried admirably to make them more presentable as a serious unit but they're too iconic to remove by now and I can't blame them on that. They've gotten better of late (Sisters of Avelorn are PERFECT! ) but they still stumble. GW isn't the best when it comes to this stuff. They will never be pleased until THEY are designing your game by proxy - designing in accordance with their demands! Screw the tallywacking socjus murkin nibblers! Just a loud minority who want undue attention and influence, nothing else. Nothing is EVER properly representative enough or politicaly correct enough for these two bit social engineers who want to shame everything and everyone to catering to their ever-shifting whims under the pretense of being polite - nevermind that they always shift the goal posts! The whiners will always be whiners, goobers and wankmasters no matter what. Spot on and 100% correct Uniblue! CA best just do whatever they want. It's so incredibly hypocritical and childish to be offended over nudity when you consider those things. Especially in a FANTASY UNIVERSE where torture, murder, death and all other kinds of horrible things are a daily occurrence. Want some advice? Stop getting offended by fictional models that don't represent real people in the slightest. It's so incredibly hypocritical and childish to be offended over nudity when you consider the above. He/she wasn't created to appease trans people, end of story. I won't even get in to the travesty of calling Slaneesh 'problematic' because he/she doesn't hold up to your standards. #Old witch from brave fullGW sexist? I guess we'll just conveniently ignore that in 40k and fantasy several races are completely genderless, some factions are composed entirely of females (or their females are equal or held to a higher standard than their male counterparts - Eldar) or equal (Imperial guard fields both men and women, the fact that there are less female 'models' is kind of irrelevant since they all wear full body armour with helmets and you wouldn't notice a difference) I hope they add fully nude daemonettes just to spite the unreasonable loud minority clearly represented in this thread. Yea but Tw has never been particularly realistic or loyal to history anyways, so nah that doesn't work though I do agree its irrelevant lol Male representation in game characters is toxic in a completely different ways. The naked men from previous games were historically accurate, while the portrayal of women warrior outfitted in un-practical and even pornographic ways is definitely something problematic in gaming that is rarely found on their male-warriors equivalent. The dark elves are also more than adequately outfitted for a game, even rated for teen (Nothing here that you cannot find in World of Warcraft):Īs for the attempt at starting a little debate on sexism. Some of the daemonettes's mounts have uncovered breasts, but that could easily be altered, and while I do not really like these miniatures, it is mostly because I've always found GW unable to create decent female characters (With a few exceptions, like the one above and some of the newer dark elves.). Nothing that a total war cannot easily handle: 2K A Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia.846 A Total War Saga: Fall of the Samurai.
